Traffic adds nothing to your business unless it's the right traffic -- prospects who are actively seeking your company or your offerings online.

If you're not satisfied with the amount of new business your online presence is generating, it's time to take a look at how your site measures up:

Are prospects able to find you using keyphrases other than your company or domain name?

Are both logical thinkers and emotional thinkers equally engaged by your online presence? Can they tell you understand them? Are there components for quick decision makers and for their more methodical opposites?

Is there a clear message for each target audience for your busines on the site? Are you letting your prospects see and understand your expertise in their market?

Do you have sections of the site devoted to prospects who are researching, selecting and finally making a buying decision?

Does everything about the site tell the same story in the same voice? Is the presentation congruent and true for your business?
