The New Business Approach
As you think about your new business and begin to define all the things you want to do, it can be so tempting to launch an overnight website just to have something you can check off the endless to-do list.
If you've spent more than 90 seconds on this website, you've figured out that we're a little passionate about strategy.
Our advice? Think before you build. Define before you launch. Plan before you create even one HTML page.
It will be cheaper in the long run to spend a little time and money on planning, instead of building something, and then building something else within the year.
If you're a diehard DIY business owner, set aside $750 for a three-hour intensive with our creative team. At the end of that time, you'll have a site map, the core message and a personality profile of your business and your target audiences. You can take that and take off on building everything yourself.
If you're looking for direction and implementation, plan to spend at least $3,000 to develop a plan and launch a site. If your business offering is complex and you want corporate identity materials too (logo, business cards), you'll be wise to budget $5,000.
The website will be the first impression your company makes when it launches. It's your first full-time sales person.
