DESIGN / DEVELOPMENT WARRANTY

If we create an online marketing vehicle for you -- through custom code or through the use of third party software, we will warrant all design/development craftsmanship and compatibility for 90 days after the launch of the site or upload of changes. Because the technology used to view websites (browsers, plugins like Flash or Java) change so rapidly and are beyond the control of any development or design studio, we cannot guarantee that the application we created or implemented will work without further enhancement over time.

THIRD PARTY SOFTWARE

We often make use of third-party software because it offers desirable functionality at a fraction of the cost of custom development. When we create a plan for you, it will include the details on any third-party software we plan to include, along with the reasons for the selection. At the same time, we'll propose a maintenance plan for keeping the software up to date.

PCI COMPLIANCE FOR E-COMMERCE WEBSITES

PCI Compliance is a requirement for any website that accepts credit cards online in payment.

Compliance is mandated and defined by the PCI Security Standards Council and it publishes the standards to which all online vendors must adhere: the Data Security Standard (DSS), the Payment Application Data Security Standard (PA-DSS) and the Pin-Entry Device (PED) Requirements.

Any third-party software we use as a part of your online marketing vehicle will be PCI compliant when it launches. eCommerce clients must plan for at least annual upgrades in their online marketing budgets, as the standards can change as security risks become apparent to the governing body. When we propose an eCommerce platform for a client, we'll include a plan for regular maintenance to assure ongoing compliance with these critical standards.
